The College of Charleston baseball team has won nine of its last 10games and claimed its fourth straight CAA series over the weekend. Such a strong performance has captured the attention of baseball experts across the nation, leading the Cougars to make a major jump in the polls.
The College of Charleston is ranked No. 22 by Baseball America and No. 30 by Collegiate Baseball, while also receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll (No. 29) and D1Baseball Poll (No. 26). The Cougars slipped 10 spots from last week in the NCAA RPI rankings, but remain in the top 50 at 43rd.
