With the first day of the fall 2015 semester just around the corner on August 25, students are gearing up for the many back-to-school activities the College offers each year. Below, find a list of upcoming Welcome Week events to start the school year off right for new and returning Cougars!
Georgestock
- Sunday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the TD Arena (301 Meeting St.).
Convocation
- Monday, August 24 at 9:30 a.m. throughout campus. Students should check their College of Charleston email account for more details. Attendance for this event is required for all first year students and optional for transfer students.
Rock the Block, Residence Life Block Party
- Monday, August 24 at noon on George Street.
Stern NiteLife Dine ‘N Find
- Thursday, August 27 – 10 p.m. This event begins in the Liberty St. Fresh Food Company dining hall (30 St. Philip St.).
SGA Bike Auction
- Friday, August 28 at 11 a.m. on George Street
Find fun activities on campus day or night.
CAB Casino Night
Friday, August 28 at 9 p.m. in the Theodore S. Stern Student Center (71 George St.).
Student Organization Fair
- Saturday, August 29 at 2 p.m. on George Street and in the Cistern Yard.
Alicia in Wonderland – Meet the new Vice President of Student Affairs
- Thursday, September 3 at 5 p.m. in the Stern Center Gardens (71 George St.).
