The College of Charleston School of Business will host two upcoming lectures. Both events are free and open to the public
Voice, Exit, and the Meaning of Democracy
Adam Martin, political economy research fellow at the Free Market Institute and assistant professor of economics at Texas Tech University, will give a public talk on voice, exit, and individual liberty.
Martin’s address will take place at 5 p.m. on Oct. 9 in Wells Fargo Auditorium.
The event is presented by the Center for Public Choice and Market Process and co-sponsored by the Institute for Humane Studies.
Can Free Markets Save the Environment?
Randy Simmons, professor of economics and finance at Utah State University, will discuss free market environmentalism as a solution to environmental problems.
The lecture will take place at 5 p.m. on Oct. 14 in room 202 of the Tate Center.
