The College of Charleston baseball team broke into the Top 25 on Monday as Baseball America placed the squad at No. 23 in the publication’s latest rankings.
The Cougars capped a 4-0 week with a three-game sweep of Mercer over the weekend. CofC has won eight consecutive games and have posted an 11-4 overall record.
College of Charleston entered the season ranked No. 34 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll and have received Top 25 votes each week.
The Cougars travel to Greenville, S.C., to take on Furman on March 15, 2016, before hosting Charleston Southern on March 16. Both games are set to begin at 6 p.m.
