Meet freshman guard Brevin Galloway, one of four newcomers to the College of Charleston men’s basketball program.
A three-star recruit ranked as high as No. 4 in South Carolina coming out of Seneca High School, Galloway was a three-time all-state, three-time all-region and three-time all-area first-team selection. He averaged 20 points, six rebounds and five assists per game as a senior while the Bobcats posted a 24-3 overall record and advanced to the final four of the state playoffs. He previously played for T.L. Hanna High School in his hometown of Anderson, S.C.
“Brevin can really shoot the ball from three,” College of Charleston Head Coach Earl Grant said. “He is big for a two-guard at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds. Physically, he is ready to play at this level. There is a lot of depth at the guard position for us this year and he will have an opportunity to play.”
The Cougars kick-off their season at home in TD Arena with an exhibition game against Allen University on Nov. 4, 2016. Season tickets are available by calling 843.953.COFC or online at www.CofCSports.com/tickets.
