The College of Charleston’s Department of Political Science will host a lecture with former Federal Election Commission Chairman Trevor Potter from 4 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 1, 2016. The lecture will take place in the School of Sciences and Mathematics Auditorium, 202 Calhoun St.
The talk, which is free and open to the public, will focus on campaign finance and the role of money in American politics.
Potter is one of the top campaign finance lawyers in the country and appeared numerous times on Comedy Central’s “Colbert Report” as an expert on super PACs.
