The College of Charleston is right in the path of the solar eclipse, and there were plenty of great tweets, Instagrams and snaps from the celestial event.
Students were posting Instagram shots in their CofC eclipse glasses at convocation in the Cistern Yard before the big block party — complete with NASA spacesuits — in Addlestone Library in the afternoon. Even faculty got in on the action, posting great videos and images of what to expect before the sun begins to go dark in Charleston at about 1:17 p.m.
