The College of Charleston community turned out on Aug. 31, 2017, for SustainFest, the kickoff event for the College’s annual Quality Enhancement Plan theme. This year’s theme is water, access and quality.

First Nations activist Clayton Thomas-Muller spoke about the indigenous perspective on protecting the sacredness of water. His talk was followed by a performance from music act Sol Driven Train. This event was jointly produced by the Sustainability Literacy Institute, the Office of Institutional Diversity and the Office of Student Life.
