The spring semester might be over, but there were plenty of events going on around campus before Commencement.

A historical marker was erected Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 105 Wentworth St. in honor of civil rights activist Septima Clark.


South Carolina Teaching Fellows Aly Lain and Ridgeland Welch got the ball rolling to place a historic marker in front of Septima Clark’s birthplace at 105 Wentworth St.


President Glenn McConnell ’69 was the man of the hour at a drop-in event recognizing his retirement from the College of Charleston.
