Interim President Stephen C. Osborne ’73 has announced the College of Charleston will host a winter holiday party this December for all CofC employees.

The event will be held Dec. 7, 2018, in the Silcox Gymnasium and will include a food buffet, live music and raffle prizes. All employees are welcomed to attend and bring a guest. A time for the event has not yet been set.

Osborne says the decision to bring back the annual winter holiday party was the result of Presidential Listening Sessions held last spring where many College employees expressed an interest in reviving the event.

More details about the party, including picking up tickets, will be announced later this semester. Other campus holiday events this year include the Sottile Tree Lighting on Nov. 27, a drop-in at the President’s House at 6 Glebe St. on Nov. 30, and the Cougar Night Lights celebration on Dec. 3.
