The Power of Words event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center Auditorium, room 101.

The keynote speaker is Ana Celia Zentella, renowned linguist and former professor at UC San Diego and The City University of New York. The event, which also includes a lecture panel discussion, is open to all CofC students, faculty, and the Charleston community.
