In order to expedite entry and provide a safe and secure environment for student-athletes, staff, fans, guests and visitors, College of Charleston Athletics has implemented a Clear Bag Policy for all of its ticketed athletics events (men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s soccer) effective Nov. 1, 2018.
Along with numerous NCAA Division I institutions around the country, the state of South Carolina and professional sports around the world, this new policy limits the size and style of bags carried into ticketed venues.
Beginning with the men’s basketball exhibition game against Benedict College on Nov. 1 at TD Arena, fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into each of the College’s athletics venues (TD Arena and Patriots Point) including conference championships and special events hosted on campus sites (2018 Colonial Athletic Association Volleyball Championship on Nov. 16-18 at the Johnson Center and 2018 ESPN Charleston Classic on Nov. 15, 16 & 18):
