Campus Community Celebrates Cougar Spirit Day

Campus Community Celebrates Cougar Spirit Day

Cougar Spirit Day is a special celebration held the first Friday of every month for faculty and staff to show their school spirit by wearing College of Charleston colors and attire.

Staff members show their campus pride on Cougar Spirit Day.

Spirit Day is the brainchild of the Staff Advisory Committee to the President and is intended as a fun and creative way for employees to show their College spirit and develop a sense of community. Plus, it gives everyone something to look forward to each month.

Don’t have anything to wear for Spirit Day? The College of Charleston Bookstore has you covered. The bookstore will offer faculty and staff an additional discount on College apparel on Cougar Spirit Days, increasing the usual 10 percent discount for faculty and staff to 20 percent.

For College departments whose employees wear uniforms – and for those employees who have the spirit, but forget the gear – the Division of Marketing and Communications has Cougar Spirit buttons on hand. Just stop by room 207 in the Robert Scott Small Building and pick one up!

Go Cougars!
