The Staff Advisory Committee to the President (SAC) has initiated a survey to learn what is important to College of Charleston staff members and help determine the areas to best focus its attention and efforts. The survey is open until April 1, 2019.
Staff members may access the survey here.
The main purpose of SAC is to advocate for the staff of the College of Charleston and to advise the president about staff opinions concerning matters of importance to the staff and institution. Although the advisory committee cannot implement policy changes, it has advocated for and established several initiatives since it was created in 2011, including the temporary-to-permanent employee conversion initiative, the reinstatement of staff professional development funding, Cougar Spirit Day and drop-ins, employee access to the George Street Fitness Center and the Faculty & Staff News page within The College Today.
This survey allows the committee to continue to make an impact for staff members through focused initiatives. All staff members are encouraged to take this short, anonymous survey so SAC can better understand the staff experience at CofC and advocate for meaningful and positive change.
