The College of Charleston’s School of Professional Studies will hold an undergraduate open house for professionally-oriented adult students on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to explore the College’s North Campus, learn about the classroom technology and speak with an advisor about transferring credits.

According to Godfrey Gibbison, dean of the School of Professional Studies (SPS), all undergraduate programs offered by SPS are designed with the adult student in mind. The courses are delivered online, via hybrid session or Live Online. And professional studies students can choose from three majors: professional studies, general studies and business administration.

The Bachelor of Professional Studies degree offers several concentrations, including Applied Communication, Healthcare and Medical Services Management, Hospitality and Operations Management and Legal Studies.

In addition, SPS offers an undergraduate certificate in Project Management, which is perfect for individuals who are looking to change careers or who want to earn college credits without earning a full bachelor’s degree.

The upcoming Open House is offered both in-person and Live Online, which is conducted through a two-way video conferencing system. This event is free and open to the public, but advanced registration is encouraged.

The College of Charleston North Campus is located at 3800 Paramount Drive in North Charleston. Learn more about the Open House here.
