College of Charleston staff members may nominate their colleagues for the annual Staff Awards through Friday, May 17, 2019. Recipients will be announced at the Celebration of Staff drop-in lunch and awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in the TD Arena McAlister Hospitality Suite from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Recognizing hard work and dedication toward successes at the College, these awards include three nomination categories:
Permanent Staff Employee of the Year ($1,500 for the primary recipient and $500 to four additional recipients): This person makes contributions to further the College’s core values (integrity, academic excellence, liberal arts education, respect for the individual student, diversity, community and public mission); develops and/or implements improved effectiveness of work processes to better serve the College community; exhibits exceptional customer service; and has made other specific contributions to the success of their office and to the greater College community.

Temp Staff Employee of the Year Nomination Form
Outstanding Staff Member Presidential Service Award ($1,500 for the recipient): This person supports and engages other offices and organizations on campus; has furthered the College’s core values (integrity, academic excellence, liberal arts education, respect for the individual student, diversity, community and public mission); has been an instrumental contributor to the College community; and consistently collaborates and partners with other offices and organizations in order to benefit the campus community.
