“The next year and a half promise to be an exciting time for the College of Charleston,” President Andrew T. Hsu said in an email to the College of Charleston community. “I’m confident that we will have a remarkable 250th anniversary celebration.”

Shao will work together with the College’s corporate relations team in the Division of Institutional Advancement to help secure the resources needed to make the celebration both memorable and special. In addition, he will help build long-term partnerships between these companies and the College of Charleston. Shao is well-positioned for this new role due to the relationships he has built with the business community over the past 10 years while serving as dean. His new role and responsibilities are in addition to his duties as dean of the business school.
