Faculty and staff, along with returning students and alumni, are invited to welcome the Class of 2023 to the College of Charleston during convocation on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019.
President Andrew T. Hsu has invited the CofC community to greet the College’s newest students as they enter Cistern Yard as part of the convocation ceremony. Faculty and staff are encouraged wear their Cougar gear or maroon and to line George Street and the brick walkway of the Cistern Yard to welcome students as they proceed through Porters Lodge.
Those who can attend should make their way to Cistern Yard at 10:15 a.m. Incoming students will begin arriving at approximately 10:45 a.m. Convocation will begin at 11 a.m. and will last around 15 to 20 minutes.
