The College of Charleston will continue to fund the Staff Professional Development Incentive Program for the 2019–20 academic year, with the next round of applications due on October 15, 2019.
Operated by the Staff Advisory Committee to the President (SAC), the program is designed to assist College staff in funding professional development endeavors that will improve the skills or knowledge relevant to their job performance.
“It is the College’s goal to be a lifelong learning environment in support of a diverse faculty and staff who are excellent scholars, educators and professionals,” says President Andrew T. Hsu. “I hope that a number of you will be able to utilize this program.”
The Staff Professional Development Incentive Program funding application form is available here and can be completed and submitted electronically. Requests for funding must be for activities completed before June 30, 2020.
Funds will be administered four times during each academic year, with final approval residing with the Office of the President. Applications may be submitted for two weeks before the following submission deadlines: October 15, January 15 and March 15.
