The College of Charleston Soccer Field at Patriots Point Athletic Complex will be named in honor of long-time men’s soccer head coach Ralph Lundy on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The pre-match dedication ceremony will recognize and honor Lundy’s service and commitment to the institution and take place prior to the College of Charleston-William & Mary men’s soccer contest scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. Lundy is currently in his 33rd season with the Cougars and is the fourth-winningest coach among active NCAA Division I men’s soccer coaches with 452 career victories to date.

Lundy, who led the Cougars to five NCAA Tournament appearances (including a magical Elite Eight run in 1994) and six conference championship titles, will retire at the conclusion of the 2019 season.

Fans, alumni and friends are encouraged to get to the game by 6:30 p.m. to watch the pre-match Ralph Lundy Field dedication ceremony. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for youth (18 & under) and can be purchased online at www.CofCSports.com/tickets or by calling the CofC Athletics Ticket Office at 843.953.2632.
