Proposal submissions are being accepted through Jan. 17, 2020, for the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Conference (TLTCon), which will be held at the College of Charleston on May 14 and 15, 2020.

Hosted by the College’s Teaching and Learning Team (TLT), TLTCon is an opportunity for greater campus discussion and collaboration about pedagogy and instructional technologies and is designed to bring together expertise from educational institutions across the region, spotlight teaching excellence and provide a space for idea sharing and networking.

TLTCon is free and open to the public, and will be delivered in a conference-style format where participants will be able to choose sessions that are the most attractive and relevant to their own professional development. Registration opens March 9, 2020.

Session types will include panel presentations, spotlight sessions, working groups and a special keynote speaker. During and in-between sessions there will also be spaces where participants can continue the conversation with colleagues and reflect on their own teaching practices.

Proposal submissions for all types of sessions may be submitted online here. Proposals must address teaching and learning in the higher education environment. They do not need to include technology at all. For ideas, check out past presentations.

Information associated with accepted applications will be used for conference app and web content. More than one proposal from the same individual may be accepted based upon space availability. Those with accepted proposal submissions will be notified Feb. 3, 2020.
