The College of Charleston Counseling Center is offering a four-week Koru Mindfulness course for CofC students, faculty and staff on Wednesdays from 3 to 4:15 p.m., Jan. 29 through Feb. 19, 2020.

These entry-level courses will build mindfulness skills for regular daily life. Participants will learn practical skills for increasing mindfulness, managing and reducing stress, focusing their minds, reducing negative self-judgment and gaining perspective on the issues and challenges in their lives.

All sessions will be led by Rachael McNamara, a Koru Mindfulness–certified health educator in the Counseling Center, and will be held in the Robert Scott Small Building, room 319. Participants must attend all four sessions, and will be charged a one-time fee of $3.99. Registration is required.

For more information, contact Rachael McNamara at mcnamarar@cofc.edu.

Please note: These courses are student preferred. Should a course fill up, students will be admitted first, and faculty and staff could be bumped.
