The College of Charleston’s Staff Training Program allows faculty and staff to take one free CofC class per fall and/or spring semester orย Maymester and/or summer semester.
The staff training application deadline for the Maymester/summer 2020 semesters is April 1, 2020.

Employees may enroll in any course (assuming any prerequisites are met), even if the course doesnโt directly relate to their professional fields. To be eligible, employees must have held a permanent, full- or part-time position (at least 30 hours per week) for six months or more. To take advantage of the staff training program, employees must:
- complete the staff training application each semester,
- be eligible for admission as a non-degree adult student or degree-seeking student,
- enroll for a College of Charleston credit course (cannot audit course), and
- earn a C or better (incompletes are not acceptable).
