The College of Charleston will hold three virtual town hall meetings on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, for the CofC community as the institution prepares for the beginning of online classes on Aug. 25 and the return to in-person instruction on Sept. 14.

For this round of virtual town halls, College administrators will hold three meetings – one specifically for students/families, one specifically for faculty and another specifically for staff.

As done previously, the virtual town halls will be conducted using Microsoft Teams Live Event video conferencing technology. Attendees can watch the event online and submit questions using the program’s Q&A feature. For additional information about the College’s comprehensive return-to-campus plan for the fall 2020 semester, review our Back on the Bricks website.

The schedule and links for the virtual town halls is as follows:

For those unable to watch these town halls live, links will be made available afterward for streaming at any time. Recordings of town hall meetings can be viewed at cofc.edu/back-on-the-bricks/virtual-town-halls/index.php. A CofC login is required to view recorded faculty and staff town halls. The College will be hosting more of these virtual town halls in the days and weeks to come, so if you can’t tune in this week, there will be additional opportunities to participate in the future.
