With our new in-person/hybrid classes, students need spaces to participate in Zoom sessions for online classes while on the College of Charleston campus. That’s why the College has prepared more than 250 indoor and outdoor spaces for students, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If a space is at maximum capacity, students will need to find another location.
Indoor Zoom spaces are located at the Stern Student Center, the Education Center, Harbor Walk, JC Long Building, Robert Scott Small Building and TD Arena. Outdoor tented and non-tented spaces can be found at the School of Science and Mathematics Courtyard, Stern Garden and Rivers Green. For details on hours of operation, power availability and capacity, please visit https://registrar.cofc.edu/course-offerings/zoom-spaces-for-fall-2020.php.
Students who utilize these areas must comply with the following:
- Face masks and earbuds are required in all spaces.
- Students must wipe down their areas before use.
- Students may not exceed the capacity for the designated area.
- Students may not alter the configuration of the designated area.
Please note that there are also tents designated for School of the Arts classes located in Cistern Yard and Barnet Courtyard.
