The Division of Information Technology has launched Status Page, a site providing real-time information on the operating status of campus technology services.
Visitors to this page can easily check if a service – like MyCharleston, Banner, OAKS or the wireless network – is operating normally or experiencing a disruption. A green “Normal” indicates a service is operating normally, a yellow “Performance” indicates a service is experiencing performance issues and a red “Disruption” indicates a service is experiencing a disruption. The page calendar also indicates upcoming dates when services are scheduled for maintenance.
The information on Status Page will also be shared by way of campuswide emails and social media posts from IT’s official accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). Emails will have a special template look and use a green, yellow or red color to indicate status, provide updates and resolution information.
