Itโ€™s never easy to say goodbye โ€“ especially to a member of the College of Charleston family. But sometimes it’s cause for celebration, too.

Such is the case for the 12 employees who’ve retired from the College between January and July 2021.

โ€œWe are grateful to all of our employees who have retired since January, and we salute them for everything they have done to make the College a better place,โ€ says Ed Pope, vice president of human resources at the College of Charleston. โ€œThey certainly deserve a happy and relaxing retirement, and weย wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives.โ€
