How long have you worked at the College? 13 years

What are your job responsibilities? To put in work orders and to make sure that the work orders are completed in a timely manner. Also, to improve the campus’ appearance and functionality.

What do you like most about your job? Coming to work on one of the most beautiful campuses in the area.

What question do you get asked most in your job and what’s your typical answer? How do I deal with hundreds of work orders? One at a time.

What’s your favorite location on campus and why? College Way. That was my first job when I got back home from Job Corps as a brick mason – I was laying the brick on College Way.

What are your hobbies? Gardening and fishing. I’ve been prepping my garden to plant some Georgia collard greens. It relaxes me.

What personal and/or professional accomplishment are you most proud of? Sending my daughters to college. One graduated from Clemson and one from the University of South Carolina.

What was your favorite TV show growing up? Batman and Robin/Dracula

What’s next on your bucket list? To go inside the Grand Canyon.

What is something your campus colleagues would be surprised to know about you? That I modeled Western clothing in my younger days.

What was your first job? Bricklayer

What’s your favorite Lowcountry restaurant? Holmes Smoke Shack

Describe your perfect day: A good day for me starts with giving my wife a hug and a kiss in the morning. When I get to work, having a good conversation with my co-workers and my supervisor.
