Maybe you’re stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. Maybe your teenager has you at your wits’ end. Maybe your babysitter quit or your identity has been stolen or you’re ready to adopt or your dog needs a surgery you can’t afford. Maybe you’re just tired of being tired.
The point is: We all need a little assistance sometimes. And, thanks to the Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program (EAP), the College of Charleston has us covered.
The College’s EAP is provided for you, your dependents and household members and offers a wide variety of counseling, referral and consultation services, which are all designed to assist you and your family in resolving work and life issues in order to live happier, healthier, more balanced lives. From stress, addiction and change management, to locating child care facilities, legal assistance and financial challenges, Deer Oaks EAP has qualified professionals to help. These services are completely confidential and can be easily accessed 24/7, offering you around-the-clock assistance for all of life’s challenges.
The Deer Oaks website has tools, training/seminars, coupons/freebies, resources and videos, and is divided into broad categories – from parenting, aging and working to balancing, living and thriving. There are also several free training options available through the on-demand and live webinars.
