As the spring semester gets underway, the College of Charleston is hosting a number of COVID-19 testing events, as well as a vaccine clinic, in the coming weeks. The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) will conduct both the testing and vaccination clinics.

The first COVID testing event for the spring 2022 semester, which is open to people of any age, will take place on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Stern Student Center at 71 George St. Pre-register here: Home (sc.gov).

A COVID vaccine and booster clinic will take place on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for students, faculty, staff and family members of CofC employees. Taking place outside Student Health Services at 181 Calhoun St., the clinic will offer Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters. DHEC will also have pediatric vaccinations available. No appointment is necessary. If you have an insurance card, please bring it with you. Also, please bring your vaccine card, if you have one, so that the boosters or second-dose vaccines can be recorded. If you have questions or need further information, please email covid19@cofc.edu.
