The College of Charleston celebrated its third annual CofC Day, the institution’s annual day of giving, on Jan. 27, 2022. The day, which also marked the the 252nd anniversary of the university’s founding, was one filled with Cougar pride.

CofC fans gathered in the Cistern Yard to celebrate the day with food, fun and swag. The excitement continued at TD Arena, with more CofC Day fun during the men’s basketball game and culminated with a telecast featuring alumni Lu Parker ’90, of KTLA in Los Angeles, and Mikel Hannah-Harding ’19, meteorologist at WRDW in Augusta, Georgia, who gave updates on CofC Day giving tallies and leaderboards, showcased performances by the CofC cheer and dance teams, and highlighted how donor gifts are used.
