The campus community received the following message from the College of Charleston COVID-19 Leadership Team on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, regarding COVID-19 reporting, testing and booster clinics:
Dear Campus Community,
With COVID-19 cases on the rise, the College reminds everyone on campus to remain vigilant in guarding against the spread of the virus. To help protect our community, please self-report a positive COVID-19 case to the College. See below for the self-reporting links as well as other helpful resources.
Vaccine and Booster Clinics
The College offers walk-up COVID-19 Vaccine & Booster Clinics every Wednesday through July 6 outside of Student Health Services (181 Calhoun St.). The next clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, for students, faculty, staff, CofC-employee family members as well as community members. Hosted by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), the clinic will offer Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters. DHEC will also have pediatric vaccinations available.
COVID-19 Testing
The campus community can order free COVID-19 test kits from the federal government at: www.covidtests.gov. Employees can also pick up free test kits from CofC Human Resources, located in the basement of the Lightsey Building at 160 Calhoun St.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep our campus community safe.
Sincerely,
