Join the Academic Advising and Planning Center for the annual Majors and Minors Fair on Sept. 28, 2022. This year’s fair will be held in person in the Cistern Yard from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the fair will be held in the Stern Student Center Ballroom on the fourth floor.
The fair gives all undecided, re-deciding and exploring College of Charleston students the opportunity to speak personally with faculty, staff and student representatives from academic programs and campus services to learn about specific requirements for majors, minors and related career options. Students can also learn more about what academic opportunities the College offers, while faculty and staff engage with students and share highlights about their programs. The College offers more than 60 majors and 80-plus minors for students to choose from. Whether a student has declared a major or not, the Majors and Minors Fair can benefit their academic journey.
The Academic and Advising Planning Center, located in the Lightsey Center, Suite 247, helps students select an academic major by engaging them in individualized, technology-enhanced advising appointments where they explore their interests, discuss course options and consider possible career paths.
