CofC to Resume Normal Operations on Oct. 1

The College of Charleston will resume normal operations at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday Oct. 1, 2022, following Hurricane Ian. This includes Addlestone Library, which will have normal weekend hours starting at 10 a.m. The Stern Student Center will remain closed until Monday morning.

The worst of the weather impacts from Hurricane Ian moved past the Charleston region late Friday afternoon. However, certain areas of campus and the surrounding community remain flooded and have damage from the inclement weather. Please use caution when moving about.

Liberty St. Fresh Food Co. is open until 7 p.m. and will serve all students, with or without a meal plan, for the remainder of today, Friday Sept. 30. City Bistro will open tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 1. Please continue to check the Dining Updates page for all location hours.

Overall, campus fared well during the storm, and work crews will be working over the weekend to remove remaining storm debris.
