What do you like most about your job? I enjoy helping others see their potential and guiding them to making choices that best suit them in their future, not only academically but personally as well.
What question do you get asked most in your job and what’s your typical answer? Because of the work we do in the CAPP office, I’m usually providing guidance to students on how to return to good academic standing and/or making referrals to campus resources for support.
What’s your favorite location on campus and why? I absolutely adore the Cistern. I remember being on vacation in Charleston and walking through campus and being in awe of Randolph Hall. It’s such a beautiful space.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy cooking, reading and hiking. Most recently with my relocation to Charleston, I’ve had a great deal of fun trying new restaurants as well as exploring all the county parks!
What personal and/or professional accomplishment are you most proud of? Personally, a major goal was to graduate from college. My greatest accomplishment professionally has been earning the position as director at CofC.
Name a creative work (book, movie, performance, etc.) you enjoyed recently – why? I recently went to the WNDR Museum in Chicago. It was a unique and interactive experience with the work of very creative artists.
What was your favorite TV show growing up? I loved game shows, especially The Price is Right.

What is something your campus colleagues would be surprised to know about you? Probably that I haven’t seen a lot of movies! I prefer shows instead.
What was your first job? I worked at my local YMCA for almost 10 years. I started in high school.
What’s your favorite Lowcountry restaurant? Fleet Landing – the calamari and the fried green tomato stack are delicious!
Describe your perfect day: My perfect day would be starting the day by waking up a little late, having a cup of coffee on a balcony with a nice view. Then in the afternoon, taking in nature and the sun followed by a tasty meal.
