How long have you worked at the College? 14 years

What are your job responsibilities? Identify and solve issues relating to the performance of the Department of Biology and provide one-stop assistance for biology students (enrollments, advising, problems, etc.). I also serve (unofficially) as the biology office Yoda.

What do you like most about your job? I love interacting and assisting students and members of the CofC community.

What question do you get asked most in your job and what’s your typical answer? “How do I get an override into a class?” If I can’t perform my magic … then I ask that they contact the instructor.

What’s your favorite location on campus and why? All the quiet ones.

What are your hobbies? Crafting, listening to music and Cougar Fit classes.

What personal and/or professional accomplishment are you most proud of? My two daughters and graduating from Eastern Illinois University.

Name a creative work (book, movie, performance, etc.) you enjoyed recently – why? The musical Hamilton. I was entertained, enlightened and I loved the creative way of giving history a different spin.

What was your favorite TV show growing up? Creature Feature, Looney Tunes, Good Times, The Jeffersons and the Honeymooners

What’s next on your bucket list? Traveling abroad

What’s your favorite Lowcountry restaurant? There are so many – I can’t name just one!
