Dear Campus Community,

Earlier in May, we wrapped up another phenomenal academic year, culminating in three beautiful commencement ceremonies in the Cistern Yard. I want to thank our faculty, staff and students for all of their efforts throughout the year to bring back a sense of normalcy to our campus. Our students showcased their resiliency in so many ways throughout the fall and spring, and I credit the example of our faculty and staff for helping our students make progress toward their academic goals. Simply put, it was good to be back. And together.

I could fill up pages of so many positive things that occurred around campus, but I won’t do that here for fear of leaving something out and also making this message TLTR. I can safely say that every office, every department and every area on campus helped to expand and brighten the spotlight on our campus. If you have a moment, I encourage you to peruse the different stories within The College Today. You’ll see so many achievements come to life and have a chance to be amazed by the talent of our entire campus community.

All of these moments – on campus and beyond – attract the attention of our community partners as well as prospective students and their families. They have led to record philanthropy, record recruitment and record success.

So, thank you for a great 2022–23 academic year. Let’s use this summer to catch our breath and then keep our positive momentum going into next year.

Sincerely,

Andrew
