The air was crisp and the spirit high this week at the College of Charleston! From the College’s annual block party kicking off the men’s and women’s basketball seasons to a new guided walking tour of campus, there were plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy everything the fall season has to offer. Here are just a few snapshots from around campus!

Kicking off the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, the College’s annual block party has become one of the most anticipated traditions on campus, bringing Cougars fans together for games, music, giveaways, food and – most importantly – team introductions. If the energy at this year’s event is any indication, students are pumped up and ready to show their Cougar Spirit this season! (Photos by Mike Ledford, Mary Muldoon and Max Vittorio)

Last month, the College’s Committee on Commemoration and Landscapes launched UNTOLD STORIES, a guided walking tour of campus, to help shed light on the diverse stories and evolution of Charleston, as reflected in the history of the College of Charleston. The tour honors the contributions of women, LGBTQ+ individuals and people of African, Indigenous and Jewish descent. (Photos by Catie Cleveland)

Fall has certainly arrived in Charleston! Everyone on campus, including the squirrels, welcomed the season’s crisp air and colorful leaves this week! (Photos by Catie Cleveland)
