Campus Recreation Services will host a free clinic focusing on self-defense techniques designed for walkers, runners and athletes.

run safer The RunSafer clinic, conducted by two-time Olympic distance runner and Jiu Jitsu black belt Todd Williams, takes place Sept. 8, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Johnson Center, Room J-201.

The program is free and open to all students, faculty and staff. To reserve your spot at the clinic, contact Bucky Buchanan in Campus Recreation Services at lbuchana@cofc.edu.

Todd Williams was fa our-time SEC Champion and eight time All-American as a long distance runner for the the University of Tennessee. He went on to become one of the best American distance runners of all time, qualifying for two Olympic Games (1992 and 1996) in the 10k and winning 21 U.S. titles on the road and in track and cross country.
