After finishing the regular season with the twelfth-highest steals per game average in the country, sophomore Bre Bolden has been honored as the Colonial Athletic Association’s Defensive Player of the Year, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Bolden lead the Cougars in points (13.7), rebounds (6.8), steals (3.3) and minutes played (33.5). This marks the second consecutive season that Bolden has been bestowed conference honors after being named to the CAA all-rookie team as a freshman.
