The College of Charleston has established a master’s of business education program that will start in July with a “boot camp” for non-business undergraduate students.
The one-year program, recently approved by the S.C. Commission on Higher Education, will have as many as 35 students in its first year. Students, who can focus on marketing or finance, will be required to travel and study a global enterprise for three weeks. Most courses will be six weeks long, culminating in a final “capstone” course.
The college will consider students for admission to the program if they have a GMAT score of 510 and an undergraduate grade-point average of at least 3.0. Some scholarships and part-time graduate assistantships are available.
