The College of Charleston’s Club Volleyball team will host the Charleston Strong Showcase tournament on September 26, 2015.
The Charleston Strong Showcase will feature club teams from colleges across the Southeast.
All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund, which assists the families of shooting victims from the Emanuel AME Church tragedy.
The tournament will be held at the College’s Johnson Center, located at 30 George Street. Matches start at 8:30 a.m. and run all day.
Schools participating in the tournament include the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Clemson University, Campbell University, UNC-Wilmington and Virginia Tech.
Admission is free, but there will be a donation jar at the site and spectators are encouraged to donate to the fund.
