The CNN program “John King USA” will broadcast live from the College of Charleston tonight starting at 6 p.m.
The one-hour political program will originate from Alumni Hall and will feature an interview with presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and South Carolina Congressman Tim Scott. The set will not be open for in-person viewing.
Gingrich and Scott are also participating in College of Charleston’s “The Bully Pulpit Series: Reflections on Presidential Communication” and Congressman Tim Scott’s “First in the South Presidential Town Hall Series” tonight. That event will be held in the College of Charleston Sottile Theatre starting at 7 p.m.
John King joined CNN in May 1997 and became chief national correspondent in April 2005. He served as CNN’s senior White House correspondent from 1999 to 2005.
