Every year, the College of Charleston’s Office of New Student Programs introduces more than 2,000 incoming freshmen, transfer students and their families to campus during summer orientation.
Monday, July 9, 2018, marks the halfway point for this year’s 10 orientation sessions. The final orientation session, which will take place on Aug. 18 and Aug. 17, 2018, is a two-day event for new freshman students who live more than 700 miles away.

At each orientation session, new students meet with orientation interns, attend informational seminars about campus programs and facilities and meet with faculty representatives regarding potential academic majors. New students also meet with an advisor and register for classes.
