How long have you worked at the College? Five years
What are your job responsibilities? Receive and process mail and packages, deliver and pick up mail from faculty and staff, and any other things assigned from my supervisor.
What do you like most about your job? My customers!!! ?They are the best.
What question do you get asked most in your job and what’s your typical answer? “When will this get mailed?” As soon as I get back to the mailroom.
What’s your favorite location on campus and why? The Cistern. It represents the totality that the College is.
Finish this sentence: “The College should…” Make employees permanent after one year of employment, with no issues.
What are your hobbies? Golfing, fishing, bid whist and attending men and women’s basketball games at the College.
What personal and/or professional accomplishment are you most proud of? Raising two children with a resulting three grandchildren. I was Manager of the Year with Butler Shoes, and as a result, I was transferred to Miami with the company. I was able to bring that store back to expectations.
Name a creative work (book, movie, performance, etc.) you enjoyed recently and why? The Hate U Give. It calls attention to a serious issue.
What was your favorite TV show growing up? The Three Stooges.
What’s next on your bucket list? Go to Lambeau Field to see the Green Packers play.
What is something your campus colleagues would be surprised to know about you? My complete and unwavering faith in God. If he brings you to it, he will see you through it.
What was your first job? Working at the shrimp dock in Mount Pleasant at seven years old.
What’s your favorite Lowcountry restaurant? Golden Corral.
Describe your perfect day: Wake up, say my prayers, go to the bathroom, and everything works.
