A Charleston Affair 2014 takes place May 3 and 4 in the Cistern Yard.
It’s hard to talk about tradition without sounding a little old fashioned.
Well, there’s nothing stuffy about the Alumni Association’s annual spring celebration, which dates back to 1900, especially since it got the reboot treatment in 2006 as A Charleston Affair.
The event has grown considerably over the years and now encompasses an entire block in the heart of campus.
Due to overwhelming demand, a second night was added this year to accommodate up to 4,500 attendees. Sadly, tickets are no longer available. But you can still enjoy the festivities by logging onto social media and following #CharlestonAffair.
