From music and the arts to sorority life, there’s been plenty to be excited about on the College of Charleston campus this month.
The School of the Arts‘ (SOTA) inaugural SOTA Kick Off event, held on Sept. 13, 2021, celebrated the new school year and arts season with its faculty, staff, majors and minors. Dean Edward Hart and Provost Suzanne Austin welcomed attendees, who were encouraged to visit a series of interactive stations for SOTA’s six departments and programs while enjoying frozen treats, music curated by 1770 Records, karaoke, dance lessons, a photo booth and a chance to play with Renaissance-era paint techniques.ย (Photos by Heather Moran)
