Between Fraternity and Sorority Life raising more than $60K for Lowcountry Food Bank at the annual Pep Supper and students writing notes of kindness for one another, giving is in the air at the College of Charleston!

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center for Civic Engagement is relaunching its Alternative Break Program with two planned trips in March 2023. Students must apply by noon on Jan. 23, 2023.
Last month, sophomore Honors student and Bonner Leader Alani Boyd organized a Service Saturday experience highlighting land preservation efforts, climate change and agriculture to help students connect to Gullah Geechee history, culture and cuisine.
Several offices and departments at the College have organized a supply to support refugees resettling to the Charleston area. Donations maybe dropped off at collection sites on campus through Dec. 15.
