The College of Charleston will conduct two tests of the Cougar Alert emergency notification system on Wednesday, March 22, and Thursday, March 23.
The College of Charleston will test the Cougar Alert emergency notification system at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
The College is expanding its use of Everbridge to issue Cougar Alerts to the campus community as well as to parents, neighbors, visitors and others who elect to receive these emergency notifications regarding emergencies occurring on or near campus.
The College of Charleston has implemented a new smart phone safety app called LiveSafe to enhance student safety.
As College leadership continues to monitor and prepare for potential inclement weather from Hurricane Michael, members of the campus community should ensure that they are setup to receive future CougarAlert notifications.
