Patricia Cooney is the 2016 recipient of the Bishop Robert Smith Award, which recognizes College students who have excelled both inside and outside the classroom.
The College currently boasts three Fulbright Scholars for the 2015-2016 academic year. Later this year, biology professor and genomics expert Andy Shedlock heads to Japan as a Fulbright Scholar to study threats to sea turtles.
Sarah Legendre, an Honors College student and double major in geology and archaeology, will participate in one of the most prestigious and selective summer scholarship programs operating worldwide.
